About Complyance
Complyance is a fully AI-native, end-to-end platform for Enterprise GRC. We are backed by leading VC firms including Google Ventures, Creandum, and HV Capital, and we’re in our hyper growth phase building a category-defining business in the governance, risk, and compliance space.
With customers like Major League Soccer, CVS Health, Dropbox, Penn State, O’Reilly Auto Parts, and more, we are re-defining how complex enterprises manage GRC. Our platform offers deep, configurable core modules paired with customizable AI agents that automate entire manual workflows. From controls management (incl. audit prep), to risk management, third-party risk, policies, and trust, our platform shortens cycle times by >80%, cuts manual work by >60%, and increases visibility over risk. Our clients start seeing cost savings and risk reduction within 3 months.
The Role
We are looking for a rockstar customer engineer who will be the first line of engineering behind every client we ship to, keeping the platform reliable, the integrations healthy, and our customers set up for success.
What you'll do
- Be the first engineer our clients meet after the sale, running implementations and data migrations for new customers on the Complyance platform
- Own escalations from Customer Engagement and Support, turning ambiguous client reports into reproducible bugs and shipped fixes
- Monitor the health of our integration platform and the customer-facing integrations built on it (GitHub, AWS, Google Drive, CrowdStrike), including mTLS and worker networking
- Act as first-line engineering on production incidents reported by clients: triage, mitigate, communicate, and hand off cleanly to the owning product team
- Watch our support channels and turn recurring pain into product feedback that lands in the roadmap, not a ticket queue
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and the wider engineering team to ship the fixes and small features your customer work surfaces
- Take part in a weekend on-call rotation alongside the rest of engineering, because knowing how the platform breaks makes you better at building it
- Maintain Information Security and Privacy standards for the system as defined in the company's InfoSec Policy and related documents
- Maintain the product knowledge base and technical documentation, ensuring they remain complete, accurate, and up to date
